Donald is a bona-fide construction professional; from routine handyman tasks to complex home improvement projects, he is able to handle it all. Donald finished my basement and did a fantastic job. He designed the layout of the space to my liking which included a bedroom, closets, laundry room, pantry area, and a bathroom with a large shower. Since finishing the basement, I’ve had friends and family over to stay on various occasions, and they have all complemented me on how nice the space is.

Meet Donald

A personal approach to residential remodeling.

I'm Donald Blanchard, owner of Twin Sisters Remodeling. I've been improving homes in the Denver area since purchasing my own home in 2008. What started as projects around my own house grew into a business built around hands-on craftsmanship, practical problem-solving, and helping homeowners make their spaces work better for the way they live.

Over the years, I've worked on hundreds of projects, from individual room renovations to more involved, multi-room transformations. I've learned that a successful renovation takes more than knowing how to build. It takes listening carefully, thinking through the details, communicating clearly, and finding solutions that make sense for the homeowner and the home.

That's why Twin Sisters Remodeling is intentionally personal. I work directly with homeowners, provide detailed estimates, and focus on one project at a time. Rather than passing your project between different people, I stay personally involved in the work from the initial conversation through completion.

My goal is to create spaces that feel considered, function well, and reflect the people who live in them—while making the renovation process as straightforward and collaborative as possible.

Why Twin Sisters?

My wife and I welcomed twin daughters in 2024, and they have changed how I think about home. It's where families grow, where everyday life unfolds, and where thoughtful improvements can make a real difference.

Our daughters inspired the name Twin Sisters Remodeling. I want to build a business that reflects the same values I hope to teach them: take pride in your work, pay attention to the details, and treat people with care and respect.

For me, remodeling is about more than improving a house. It's about helping people create a home that works better for them.
